Bastion Bungalow (Kochi)

Bastion Bungalow is the famous tourist sight in the Kochi famous for the exclusive history of the place. Now it is the residence of the sub – collector of Kerala.

It was the part of Fort Immanuel constructed by the Portuguese. The Dutch visit this fort later on and destroy most of the fort. That time the fort contains seven bastions and a Stromberg bastion that is now known as Bastion Bungalow in present time.

Bastion Bungalow of Kochi is now under the protection of archeologist department of Kerala. It is famous for its wonderful structure, charm tiled roof and geometric patterns.
