Gundert bungalow is the oldest historical bungalow of Thalassery in Kannur situated in the state of Kerala. It is a hut like structure with the brown looking from some far. This is the oldest bungalow of the Kannur. This bungalow is famous for the architectural structure and Kerala style structure.

Almost all the homes in Kerala is having same style. The place is very worthy for the tourist because of the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Gundert bungalow is the place where the Herman Gundart completed his first Malayalam dictionary. This bungalow is sometime the residence of the Herman Gundert, when they are the German missionary.

This place is very far from the city area and hustle – bustle, this is the reason that it is surrounded by the parks and grounds. Here you see the grasslands with the coconut and palm trees. This place is so relaxing in comparison to the other place, the also reason is the fresh environment and the quiet place.

There is a sculpture of the Herman Gundert at the entrance of the main gate. The whole scenario of the place is attracting lots of tourist to give some time to the historical places and visit the actual beauty of the place.
