Aruvikkara Dam (Kovalam)

Aruvikkara Dam is the water reservoir place in the outskirts of the Thiruvanathapuram. It is located on the bank of Karamana River.

It is the beautiful and picturesque place also with the picnic spot. Here is a Goddess Durga temple near to the Dam in which there is a stream full of fish, which is fearlessly come to the shore when the tourist fed them.

The name of Dam Aruvikkara is kept because of there is a village having same name Aruvikkara.
